TEACH FOR ARMENIA’S COMMITMENT TO RESEARCH

To further deepen our insights, Teach For Armenia is also partnering with the School of Education and Information Studies at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) in order to conduct an external study, the #1 ranked graduate school of education in the United States. Together, we are determining the extent to which Teach For Armenia’s two-year Teacher Leadership Program (TLP) has an impact on holistic student outcomes, including leadership development, community innovation, as well as academic achievement. This study is going to help us ensure that we continuously increase our effectiveness so that our students accelerate their development as leaders and change-makers.

Public Policy Lab

Furthermore, in order to achieve system-wide transformation, at Teach For Armenia we believe that we must cultivate the next generation of policy advocates and policymakers who will make locally relevant decisions that are informed by global best practices.

For that reason, our Public Policy Lab Fellowship aims to groom Teach For Armenia’s alumni (i.e. individuals who have completed the Program) to be leaders in the field of public policy and research for topics that intersect with our vision and mission as well as the national priorities. Through a cohort experience, a select number of Teach For Armenia’s alumni will work with leading experts in order to cultivate the skills necessary to write policy recommendations that can be adapted and adopted by the governments of Armenia. Through the program, participants will learn how to:
