Armenia faces stark disparities–rural and border communities left behind, talents untapped, and a generation that has survived crisis after crisis. Our vision turns this reality on its head: an Armenia where every child, regardless of circumstance, unlocks their full potential and leads a life of choice. Classrooms in border villages as empowered and innovative as those in Yerevan, or any other world capital. Education as the great equalizer that fuels Armenia's growth.
We refuse to settle for "good enough." Leapfrogging is not a metaphor for us–it is a strategy. Rather than slowly catching up to systems built for the last century, Armenia can build the system the next century requires: personalized, technology-enabled, leadership-driven, and equitable by design.
We are uncompromising in pursuit of this mission. Our commitment is nationwide and long-term. We believe educational justice is the foundation for a thriving, secure Armenia.
How We Work: Six Levers of Systemic Change
Achieving a national education renaissance requires attacking the problem from multiple fronts at once. Our work is organized around six mutually reinforcing commitments:
- Build a robust talent pipeline of teachers, principals, and policymakers to fuel education transformation.
- Developing, piloting, and scaling cutting-edge educational models that improve student learning outcomes, foster critical thinking, creativity, and future-ready skills, and that serve as exemplars of innovation both in Armenia and globally.
- Building and operating innovative schools, including schools that integrate advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence into personalized learning environments.
- Advancing educational equity by focusing resources and interventions where needs are greatest, so that all children (across all regions and backgrounds) get a fair chance at success.
- Conducting research and policy development, including through our Public Policy Lab, in collaboration with government authorities, to inform and advocate for evidence-based reform.
- Fostering strategic partnerships and global exchange by engaging the Armenian diaspora, local and international educational organizations, and global networks to bring resources, knowledge, and partnerships to Armenia's education system, while sharing what we learn with the world.

Seroond (School Initiative)
Our school-level work, on two fronts: the Seroond Transformation Program (now called Catalyst), which turns around existing public schools by igniting leadership at every level (students, teachers, principals, parents), and Seroond School, our flagship AI-native innovation school built from first principles as a replicable blueprint.
Spark
Spark, or “Kaits” (pronounced kah-eets) in Armenian, is a Social Innovation Incubator, accelerating education innovation by empowering our alumni and partners to launch groundbreaking solutions (from startups to nonprofits) that tackle education and social challenges in new ways.
Public Policy Lab
Arming rising policy leaders with data and expertise to craft evidence-based education policies, ensuring systemic change is institutionalized at the government level.
Master's in Teacher Leadership & Teacher Training Programs
Elevating the teaching profession through advanced degree programs and certifications developed with top local and international universities.
Education in Emergencies
Leveraging trauma-informed teaching and social emotional learning to reach students impacted by crisis.
Learning Recovery & School Readiness
Bringing students who have fallen behind back to grade level, and preparing children for the start of school, through remedial instruction, diagnostic assessment, teacher mentoring, and structured family engagement, developed with UNICEF and designed for adoption at national scale.
Global Platform & Diaspora Engagement
Convening the field through signature events such as the MindX Forum, running exchanges between Armenian and international educators, and mobilizing diaspora talent and resources behind the mission.
These components don't operate in silos–they reinforce one another as a cohesive movement. A teacher trained through Teach For Armenia might become a school turnaround leader in Seroond, then launch an innovative education venture via Spark, and eventually help write national policy through our Public Policy Lab. This leadership pathway ensures that short-term classroom impact grows into long-term systemic change.
